Project Arrowhead
Project Arrowhead:
A program that connects at-risk youth and horses, to new vision and purpose. It is a concept aimed at helping at-risk youth redirect their energies and interests in ways that benefit their communities as well as themselves. The proposed experiential learning environment implements positive social behavioral change and restorative justice practices – connecting at-risk youth and horses to new vision and purpose. This unique environment helps youth re-direct their focus and energies and find a purpose for themselves to contribute to, and compete in, both the local and global communities. The Project Arrowhead provides a special opportunity to help educate youth about HIV/AIDS as well as provide hope and new direction for those youth already living with HIV.

The horse is introduced as a “teacher and companion” that helps the student/apprentice develop an appreciation for horse cultures of the world, and therefore, the student’s own cultural heritage. While the equine-focused curriculum introduces students to professional horsemanship, it also helps the student learn about caring, delayed gratification, trust, teamwork, leadership and building meaningful and productive relationships

“The mustang and the at-risk youth share a common experience of being neglected and dismissed as “wild” and useless problems. Project Arrowhead offers an alternative experience for them both.” Jean Albert Renaud, Founder

HIV/AIDS Virtual World-Wide Library
The Protect Yourself 1, Inc. HIV/AIDS Virtual World-Wide Library will utilize the World Wide Web as a means of educating and engaging citizens about the critical problem of AIDS. This program is designed to link together organizations, corporations and individuals working to fight the AIDS pandemic, and create a World database that organizes and shares information about AIDS topics. Through this medium, Protect Yourself 1, Inc. will serve as a global open-accessed World-Wide Virtual Library, linking thousands of International networks, bringing together leading-edge facts about HIV/AIDS awareness, treatment, medication, prevention and education, entertainment and providing solutions about what people can do to help.
